With approximately 85% of his lungs compromised, he spent 19 days in an induced coma, between life and death. While doctors fought to save his body, an extraordinary spiritual experience left a profound mark on his life.

But waking from the coma was only the beginning. Then came respiratory complications, six surgeries, a tracheostomy and the challenge of rebuilding his own life.
